I do a Kenwoven Christmas every year and never realized it. Our tree every year has ornaments that are put on that belonged to my husband's mother and were passed down to him several years ago. Even though they don't go with my theme which is always reds, silver, gold, and cardinals or should I say birds in general they are always the very first ornaments that go on the tree. It is just a tradition for me, I can't put my decorations on until Mama Barbara's decorations are in place. I cried when her lights and star tree topper quit working and we had to get rid of them. We still have not replaced the topper because I can't seem to find the right one for my theme. I want an Angel but it has to be red and it has to have a Cardinal on it. We found one this year at Hobby Lobby but when we got the money for it they sold out.

Beautiful home and Christmas displays, The gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh was to honor the status implied by the value of the gifts of the magi. Scholars think that these three were chosen for their special spiritual symbolism about Jesus himself:
    —gold representing his kingship,
—frankincense a symbol of his priestly role, and
—myrrh a prefiguring of his death and embalming.Merry Christmas and God Bless

I look forward to your Christmas home tour each year. I just moved into my new home with my husband two weeks ago and I'm using so many tips that I have learned from both you and Sharrah to style and decorate our space. Thank you for inspiring even the "wannabe" decorators! Many blessings to you this holiday season and in the future!

Wow. You outdo yourself year after year. What a stunning look you have put together for Christmas. I hope 2020 brings you much peace and happiness. You are an inspiration.

  7. Linda Kellum says:

Rebecca, I’m so glad that you have such a wonderful family to help you through the difficult time you had this past year. Hope proud I am of all of you, especially you, Rebecca, for showing the World and your Subbies that you are very capable of tossing out whatever doesn’t fit in with your newly chosen theme. So many of us have held on to an ornament that over stayed it’s welcome. Its a learning process that usually ends up with us tossing that ornament out with the trash. Like Marie Kondo says, “ only keep what sparks JOY.” So many of us need much more joy in our lives. I’m so happy you are finding new JOY. Keep it up, sweet friend. You have Angels cheering you on. Hugs
