I’m from Boston and if you’re going to similar weather, I’d bring boots that you can through snow in (bean boots are the best!!) they’re so warm and very stylish. I also recommend bringing jeans/leggings. Also, sweaters/sherpas are really warm too. I also recommend getting a long coat that lands just above your knees! Also, bring a hat if you’re gonna go out and be outside for extended periods of time. Small mittens would also be good to bring to just add a layer of something between your fingers and the cold air

You can bring some tipped jeans if there are any days you won't be outside a lot. But I recommend Ugg boots, and a nice thick winter coat. Sweaters are super cute and warm too.

My sister bought gift voucher at http://www.anawinbets.com for her husband. He bets on sports but doesn't win, so she hopes their tips will help him and her family becomes wealthy. I always knew she is more clever than she looks, but this … lol

A good parka will keep you warm! I like shopping at Macy’s for them because they usually have good, warm ones on sale! A scarf and a hat is always nice! Maybe a cute ASU hat with a ball on top? Or a love your melon! And gloves or mittens!! You can wear ripped jeans, especially if you have a parka! Also I really like to wear bean boots or timberlands! Both cute and really good to walk in and keep you warm!!

If you're going somewhere cold you're going to want boots, warm socks (so your toes don't freeze), def not ripped jeans, you'll be cold!! I would suggest yoga pants, leggings, joggers, Roots track pants, etc… LAYERS! A cute winter jacket, with a colour, so its a bit more interesting! Layers are so important!! Also would suggest a cute hat/mitten/glove set to keep your ears and fingers cozy, and look cute while doing it!! That is just some notes from someone who experiences winter for 6+ months a year…. (I'm from Toronto, Ontario, Canada!!)

Don't wear the ripped jeans!! Get some warm boots, a winter coat (thicc one) and a beanie! Also bring more warm clothes rather than less!!

For your adaptor problem! Just get on Europe to US plug and bring a US extension cord! this way you only need one plug for charging everything 😊

Hey girl! I live in NorthDakota and it gets to -13 up here. You can wear ripped jeans but I don't recommend it unless you won't be outside longer than 5minutes. You'd be good with standard snow boots (ask for ones that can handle the temperature), wool socks, down feathered jackets, mittens (they keep hands warmer than gloves), and earmuffs. Also buy packets of feet warmers for your boots, they help a lot!🤘🏼

I live in canada so we get to -20 or colder. It already started snowing and is about 1 degrees celsius today. I checked 30 degrees f is about 1c and that is nothing, so dont worry. Definitely have a jacket, as for pants, don't wear anything ripped, but thin leggings are fine for me. You don't need hats (honestly i feel like they don't do much), but you might need something to cover your ears cause if you're out too long, your ears start burning. Wear gloves too

For cold weather, I think you would be fine with ripped jeans as long as there isn't to much, I would recommend uggs, North face jacket, think socks, lots of hoodies and sweatshirts

December 7, 2019

warm thick socks are the way to go! you can have ripped Jeans too, but you might be a little colder but if it's going to be that cold there it won't make a difference:) it's good to get some shoes that arent think like converse or Vans <3

If it’s 30 degrees that’s like Lake Tahoe.
I live in Cali and I can’t survive winter without my sweaters! Turtlenecks and crew necks are my recommendations, and a Hollister fleece lined jacket has lasted me years, I even went snowboarding in one. Bring fuzzy socks and get a pair of snow boots or waterproof boots, like timberlands. Wear leggings under mom jeans or wear good quality skinny jeans that are warm. You’ll also want snow pants if you go in the snow, and gloves. My favorite winter accessory is a thick headband that fits over your ears to keep them warm. To me these are all essentials you don’t have to freak out about it, since I live in the coast I’m used to warmth but I go to Tahoe like 20 times a year

Honestly, you can keep your entire body warm if you wear warm enough shoes, something around you neck and gloves. And wear a thick shirt underneath a hoodie if you choose not to wear a jacket.. but again it kind of depends where you’re going, if it’s northern Norway bring a snowsuit!

Carly Slater
December 7, 2019

as someone who lives in New Hampshire, id definitely recommend layers, a winter coat, boots, beanies, etc! I wouldn’t recommend ripped jeans haha you might freeze

Evelyn McEwen

I love in Canada and I would recommend wearing layers of hoodies and long sleeve shirts and a big winter jacket. I wouldn’t recommend roped grand but jeans without the rips work well

As a person who has always lived in the cold, I sometimes forget it's cold out and walk outside in shorts and a T-shirt when there is two feet of snow outside soooo… idk. But if you arent used to the cold, I would get a nice winter jacket from north face or a Patagonia. Also, there are really nice fleece leggings at aerie that will keep you warm!!

Emilie Eriksen

I live in Norway (v cold) and you definitely need a warm winter coat! and a scarf and probably a beanie. Oh, and no ripped jeans!

I moved to Flagstaff this year for NAU, I would definitely recommend layers! I wear legging underneath my jeans, and if you can get thermal leggings they are super warm. I have a nice coat and boots but I’m also going to be living up here for the next 6 years. If you can find a cheap pair of like snow boots and a warm jacket from Walmart or target. (I like the teddy jackets when it’s not snowing)and beanies, scarves and gloves!

I live in New York so it's like 30 outside and honestly I can get away with ripped jeans but that may be because I'm so used to the cold haha. I recommend dressing in layers, and always having on a hoodie or sweater under your coat. Remember hats and scarves, and if you know it's gonna snow then purchase some good quality boots (not uggs) or else your feet will freeze! Definitely get a winter coat, north face, canada goose, and lands end are great!

Sophie Shepherd

If it's snowy/wet where you are going make sure you bring some water proof/ resistant shows and maybe some wool socks!

December 7, 2019

I’m from Minnesota and I definitely still wear ripped jeans but I’m used to the cold so idk if I’d recommend them if you aren’t used to the cold. Also you’ll definitely need a winter coat if the weather is gonna be in the 30s. In the 40s you can definitely get away with layering and a warm sweatshirt so idk it just depends on where you go. I have a tan trench coat on my Christmas list bc I’m going to be in Paris for 4 months coming up so I feel like that’s a good inbetween option for when it’s cold but not too cold. Hopefully this helped!!
